This is a request I got from someone who’d like a drawing of her cat Stitch. For once it isn’t a blogger! One of the reasons I take requests is to get a little exposure and “publicity” online, but it can’t all be like that.
This little one would have been difficult not to draw! Really cute.
I did the drawing in ballpoint pen and the background in India ink – and then a tiny bit of India ink inside the drawing too. I feel quite good about this one!
That was my 458’th drawing. Getting closer to 500!
And by the way – I made a new “requests & commissions” page – just in order to keep this information somewhere specific instead of scatter it around in individual blog posts !

Though I’ve only begun to follow your drawing journey,
I can ALREADY see how much you’re getting better, day by day. 🙂
Keep on going and ‘you’ll move mountains’ someday soon! 😀
Thanks a lot. I appreciate the encouragement ! Hope you’ll keep checkin’ in 😉
This kitty is adorable. Cute as a button.
Isn’t she? 😉

What a sweet kitty. You did well. 🙂
What a darling face…….! She looks like a young kitty…….?
I don’t remember if the owner told me actually. Perhaps she can confirm if she reads this?
What an adorable little kitty! You are right to feel good about this drawing. It is lovely.
Hi Pam – I’m so happy you and the other’s making comments like the painting Thomas did of my little girl! 🙂
Stitch is 13 now, but she was only 3 yrs old in this picture. *sigh*… she’s growing up too fast.
