Hi there! I’m back from my vacation – I haven’t drawn everyday, but I did manage to queue up 9 drawings for this blog. A few of them I’m quite happy about, but I think that most of them look a little like a feigning enthusiasm. I did promise everyone, myself included to draw something other than cats and dogs, so I better do that as soon as possible.
As well as these small sketches, I’ve also started a new cat-commission. I’ve got a nice little to-do-list of these commissioned drawings already, which is why I’ve decided to try and “upscaling” this endeavor a little bit – as you might know, I spend my Friday nights as a slave laborer for a much needed extra income. Last Friday I asked to change my work schedule to work every 14 days instead of every week in the future. The idea is that if I do 2 commissioned drawings per week, I’ll earn roughly the same with about the same amount of time spent. I’d be a whole lot happier about drawing cats and dogs for people than collecting milk and eggs for their supermarkets at night, though!

Good luck on the commission work! You are very talented, don’t waste that talent stocking shelves. π
Thanks a lot π I hope it’ll be a success!
Excellent news on the commissions coming in. You are so good, that would seem an excellent income for you as long as you enjoy it and you DO enjoy it so why not?! Love all of these – I was trying to decide on my favorite but couldn’t – there are too many grand ones in this batch to pick one!
Pam
thanks a lot π
Looking forward to seeing the commissioned drawings too. And welcome back!
Thank you ! I’ll post one later today i think!
What’s happening with your one year anniversary coming up soon? Email me. I have some ideas.
Well nothing much! – I’d love to hear your ideas, though I can’t guarantee that I’d be able to find the time to do much.. Can you send me an email though the “contact me” page?
Reblogged this on THE MEANDERINGS OF NUMPS and commented:
I first came across Thomas on Twitter, when he was offering to draw critters, and Hooman offered me up. The result was splendid, and Thomas has rolled out a picture pretty much every day for the past million years or so. Well worth following on Twitter @onedrawingdaily.
Enjoy!
Thank you so much ! π glad you found my blog π
