I like this. The more I think about using color (mind you, not actually using color–just thinking about it), the more impressed I am by what you are able to achieve. I’m working up the courage to give it a go. I still don’t get: how do you know which color to put down first? Light? Dark? I am easily baffled. Anyway: nice drawing.
Thanks a lot! Well i heard somewhere that you start light and then go darker.. So that’s what i have been doing.. To begin with i mixed the colors in a plastic tray before applying them, but now i start with some light red and then i add a little this and that gradually to get something that looks realistic.. With watercolor it’s part of the game o play with the water on your paper.. it can get too dry or too wet.. I saw you did a table in colorpencils – that was not bad! I’ve never tried colorpencils!,

I like the background color! Makes it interesting. And goes very good with the rest.
Thanks!

Your use of color is getting better everyday! Really watching your growth has been so wonderful! This is your best yet! Really wonderful work!
Thank you so much! I wasn’t that happy with it, so I’m really glad that you like it!

I like the use of green as a contrast to the flesh tones.

Start light and go dark makes intuitive sense to me. I’ll try that. That table was an act of desperation.
A good act af desparation !
