I’ve experimented a bit with the colours for this one – this dog ought to be light beige and black, but the beige turned out a little bit too powerful. I’ll probably give this one another go since I’m thinking about doing a little “dog portrait” portfolio that I can show to dog owners and maybe earning a little bit extra to help with sketchbooks and coffee expenses. Nothing fancy, though. I’m still a beginner.
I like the delicate touch on the fur. Dog portraits is a great idea…your paintings are full of personality.
