229 Self Portrait #29 in watercolour
Maybe i should have tones the pupils a bit down.
Learning watercolour will be a lot of trial and error. I think that I’m off to a good start.
I got a lot of suggestions on one of my posts yesterday concerning the colors for skin – I tried a mix of yellow, red and a little green. It gave me this quite orange colour, that might yet be still too orange. I then used some blue and some green for shadows – and sometimes just another layer og skin-tone. It needs to be darker, though. If i tried again right now, i could probably do the hair a bit better with an underlayer of the same skin tone, and some varying strokes of black for texture and toning.. But honestly – I have no clue other than to experiment.
Suggestions would ofcourse be appreciated.
I think the skin tones are great. Experimenting is definitely the best way to learn.
