Here’s the latest in the series of city-scapes.
I’m not as happy with it as the last one, but it’s sure better than in the beginning!

The perspective is awesome. I’m horrible at this. I should practice this along with water this winter.
I have never done anything with water in it!
Thanks!
I feel motion sickness working with water…I am serious!
I’m curious as to why you are less happy with this one. I think the perspective lines are actually more successful in leading the viewer’s eyes through the drawing and that curve is very pleasing. I’m terrible at drawing buildings – partly as I don’t enjoy drawing them – so I’m very impressed with this drawing.
I agree – I’m not a big fan of drawing buildings either.. Please don’t tell my teachers in architecture school ;).. It’s just way more intuitive and pleasurable to draw organic natural forms – but buildings, streets and so on is a must for me – i might as well learn to enjoy it, or find a style that suits me. The reason that I’m less happy with this one is first of all the perspective. I haven’t uploaded the photo, but it’s not as correct as the latter (although more interesting) Moreover i think that it looses a bit out in the detailing aswell. The other one was nice and detailed in the foreground and less so in the background. But these are all just small things that annoy me a bit. Overall it’s going well !
I have to agree with the others also. I think the perspective is great. It is very clean and sharp. It’s just like standing on the sidewalk and looking down the street. The perspective of the road curve is near perfect. I would call it a very good work.
Thanks then !
I think this one is wonderful – don’t give up on your cityscapes!
Thank you very much. I definetly will not give up on them !
