Yet another portrait. This time after Degas (I think… But look in the corner – it spells out another name.. Maybe someone knows for sure?)
My eyelids are heavy, and that’s the excuse for this one. It doesn’t really look like the same person. Some of my drawings are good, some are less so, and even though i think they do get better, it’s not linear.. More like two steps forward, then one back.
I suppose that i could sit down and make an effort – be really really precise, and get something that looked more like the oroginal, but I’m not sure that it would be quite as enjoyable as just drawing spontanously and putting the pencil where it “feels right”. Moreover, I am not convinced that this is the best way to learn either.
Not Degas. Looks like the wrong time period with the man’s style and the colors too. This is somewhat contemporary.
thanks for clairing that up!
